Texture for an ancient Viking shield.
The ancient Viking shield is made from sturdy wood and reinforced with metal bands. Adorning the surface of the shield are intricate designs, often inspired by Norse mythology and Viking culture. The rim of the shield is lined with a series of metal studs or bosses. Elevated by a sturdy leather strap attached at the back, the Viking shield becomes an extension of its bearer's arm, a bulwark against the chaos and violence of the medieval battlefield.
